I use an OBD2 scanner app called Car Scanner (It’s excellent). That app has a 0-60 timer built-in.

I wanted to find out how accurate the OBD app was. Could I use it instead of my Racelogic Performance Box (because the app is much easier to use)?

This is what I found out.

0-60 Timer – OBD2 vs GPS Summary

For accuracy +/- 0.2 to +/- 0.1 seconds (and I believe most of the time it’s going to be around +/- 0.1 seconds) I think the OB2 solution is the best, both for usability and cost.

If you need concrete +/- 0.1 second accuracy the Racelogic Performance Box is probably the choice.
